Rory is the sweetest baby. Really. I know people always say this about their babies, but I'm serious she's just that sweet and easy. I can't believe she's almost a year old. I watched the video clips of her birth a couple of nights ago and as always felt that familiar tightening in my throat and chest. I haven't exactly kept it a secret that being pregnant isn't fun for me, but I'd do the whole labor and delivery thing over again in a heartbeat. If I could be pregnant for, oh say, 5 months and then deliver, I'm there. 9 months is just too long for this short torsoed (is that a word) girl.

I'm with you on the labor/delivery thing. Are we crazy? I'm proud of us that we did it, multiple times! In particularly crazy moments I hope that someone close to me will need me to be a surrogate. I'd do it!
